UNCLE Bob didn’t want her in his country, but now he’s history.

Zodwa Wabantu’s fans went crazy when they heard she would finally perform in Zimbabwe this past weekend.

But they were left disappointed when the pantyless performer changed her mind!

Zodwa was booked to perform on Saturday and again yesterday after she was banned months ago.

“I really want to rock Zim but feel it’s too early and the situation there is still tense,” she said.

“You know there are still soldiers on the streets and people are still trying to get their lives together.

“For now I cannot risk it. My fans there must be patient and only time will tell.”

Zimbabwe has been going through a transition following former president Robert Mugabe’s resignation after the military took control of the country.

Zodwa was initially booked to perform pantyless during the Harare International Festival of the Arts.

Mugabe had questioned who she was and said she wouldn’t be allowed to perform in his country, as long as he was still president.

Mugabe was quoted as saying: “Who was that again?

“We don’t want an intransigent or stubborn naked nobody coming to cause problems.”

“What will be your purpose for coming? So men can see you? No. I’m sorry!”
