XOLANI Jwaga wants to make it big overseas and at home.
The gospel singer recently released his debut CD and DVD, called Hosanna.
Last month he toured Britain and performed at Assemblies of God churches in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
He will sing at Sunnyside Primary School in Tshwane on Saturday and at a church called JKWC in section B of Siyabuswa, Mpumalanga.
Speaking to SunBuzz about his trip to England, he said: “It was my first time there and it was a great experience.
“It was amazing to see people who don’t understand isiZulu trying to sing along with me. They loved my song Inkosi Inamandla.”
Xolani is a businessman and human resources expert from Springs in Ekurhuleni.
“My plan for my South African tour is to visit places I’ve never been to. I want people to be blessed by my music.”
Some of the songs on his album were written by members of the Assemblies of God congregation in KwaThema.
“I asked the Holy Spirit to guide me and give me wisdom to choose songs that are relevant for this time in my life,” said Xolani.
He said he was glad that God was using him as vessel to spread his word.
“My album is a demonstration of the power of God. I want to allow people to experience Him through the songs, which is why I’ll visit all nine provinces,” he said.
