GRAMMY-NOMINATED singer,
actress and model, V. Bozeman is coming to Mzansi.
Take one look at her, and you’ll see striking natural beauty. Musically, she doesn’t flip the script so much as rewrite it altogether.
V. is best known for her role in FOX’s hit drama series Empire (2014).
The first episode was viewed in more than 20 million households.
She teamed up with Lincoln Motor Company this month for a commercial and release of the single GO from her upcoming debut album.
In addition to her music and
recurring role in Empire
she can be seen in two international Heineken
commercials and is at work on several other TV projects.
In 2015 she joined Raheem DeVaughn and Leela James on the Love n Soul
Experience tour.
She said: “Art is still about substance. This is my story. It’s who I am.”
Recently she stunned audiences at the Soul Train Awards and the American Black Film Festival (ABFF).
V. also sang The Legends Ball in
Harlem’s legendary Apollo Theatre.
As she grew up in South Central Los Angeles, the sounds of Gladys Knight and Whitney Houston drowned out the gunfire outside the young V.’s window.
She sang in church when she was only four years old and fronted a
girl group for Kenneth “Babyface”
Edmonds’ Soda Pop label, worked with CeeLo Green and had a hit with Timothy Bloom’s Till The End Of Time
