The Voice SA is proving to be a tough show to get into.

Lira is the most difficult coach to impress.

She hardly hits her buzzer but when she does, the talent is always in a league of its own. The show on Sunday was the second episode and a continuation of the blind auditions.

This episode saw coaches Karen Zoid, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Lira and Kahn Morbee fighting over some unique talent. As they heard everything from classical music to pop songs.

One contestant who had Lira and Bobby both hitting the buzzer was Afda student Austin Lurring.

Even though Bobby slammed down his buzzer on the first line of Austin’s rendition of Maroon 5’s Sunday Morning, the 20- year-old from Pietermaritzburg couldn’t say no to Lira, as he had always dreamt of working with her.

“I appreciate that you hit the buzzer first Bobby but I will have to go with Miss Lira,” he said.

Another highlight of the show came at the end as Bobby showed off his abs to the smitten Lana Crowster from Cape Town.

Kahn struck it lucky as he managed to get four talented singers on his team.

At the end of the blind auditions, each coach can only have 14 singers on their team.
