What could possibly be better and more entertaining than a collaboration between Skolopad and Dr Malinga?
It seems like a moment in entertainment history that everyone would love to witness.
Well, keep your fingers crossed because Skolopad has hinted at a possible collaboration between herself and the king of kicks, Dr Malinga.
Skolopad has been struggling to shift the public’s attention away from her saucy red-carpet looks to her dance music with little success thus far.
Since meeting her at 2017 Metro FM Music Awards, everyone’s attention has been solely focused on her dramatic looks, nude pictures and of course, the drama between Skolopad and Zodwa Wabantu.
But it now seems that Skolopad’s career might just be on the up soon.
Speaking to TshisaLive, Skolopad has revealed that she and Dr Malinga might form a partnership after meeting in a "heavenly coincidence".
"Meeting Dr Malinga is such a blessing to me...like a new start for Skolopad. I am over the moon because at last God heard my cry. I love his music, his energy and I know if all goes well, we will make a great team. So we are going to try this thing," she said.
Although nothing has been signed as yet, Skolopad is very optimistic about her future in the music industry.
"He said he will help me because he's seen the effort I have been putting into making a music career. He saw my potential. So even though we haven't signed anything, he's already helping me and I am ready to work, so I impress him enough to have him sign me," she told the publication.
Meanwhile, Dr Malinga also teased fans when he asked if they wanted wanted a record with Skolopad.
“Guess who I met LOL Mrs Vorsoso. Wow she also sang for me, what a lovely voice. Can I record her?” he said on Instagram.
Also speaking to TshisaLive, Dr Malinga said the length of their working relationship would depend on how well their first single will do.
"No, I haven't signed her and I can't confirm anything right now. We met and she said she needed help with her music because she can sing. So I said I would help her with her production on a song of hers.
"It depends on the song and how powerful it is. I can't sign a person just because they trend or because of wors. Lingas is a serious business. However, I heard her sing and I see her potential. So, in the meanwhile we will help her with the production for her song and we will see where that takes us,” Malinga said.
