THE suspect who was arrested following the death of Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere will appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Preshalin Naidoo, is accused of causing the accident which killed Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere in January 2015.
He faces two counts of culpable homicide and additional charges of reckless or negligent driving.
In February 2017, Naidoo’s lawyer attempted to dismiss the charges and have Naidoo acquitted under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedures Act, citing lack of evidence, but this was dismissed by the court.
