AMERICAN rapper ASAP Ferg will headline the first annual Capsule Festival with Mzansi’s own Nasty C.

The concert promises to be one of the biggest, with two stages and a line-up of about 30 local artists and DJs.

It takes place on 16 September at the Mary Fitzgerald Square in Joburg.

The aim of the event is to offer a platform that celebrates Mzansi’s street culture.

There will be a skate park, charity celebrity basketball tournaments, brand pop-up stores, a beer garden and food village, a gaming area and a VIP section.

All the big acts will perform on the main stage and the second stage will be for up and coming artists and DJs.

Confirmed headliners include Sho Madjozi, DJ Speedsta, Da Les, Gemini Major and Yanga.

ASAP Ferg is a member of the Harlem-bred group ASAP Mob, which also includes ASAP Rocky.

He sets fashion and lifestyle trends that catch on globally.

He’s sold millions of records and has collaborated with artists such as Future, Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky and French Montana.

His hit Shabba built his name in the new school hip hop scene.

His other hits include Work, Work (Remix) and New Level.

  • Tickets start from R150 to R300 for VIP and are available at selected Sportscene stores.
