The tombstone of the late Musician Robbie Malinga is set to be removed and redesigned.
According to Times Live this is because Social media is not happy that the statue does not look like Robbie.
In an interview with Lebohang Khitsane, CEO of Bataung Memorials this morning, he said "We have seen the feedback on social media and have decided to remove the tombstone and redesign it based on that. People have pointed out that the features on the statue do not resemble Robbie 100%"
He also mentioned that it took a team of 15 people to make the tombstone and cost an estimated R500 000.
Robbie Malinga died on the 25th December 2017.
