South African Hip-Hop veteran, Pro (formerly known as Pro Kid) is raging fire over the new kids on the block and their “disrespect” for the older generation of musicians.

In a recent interview with the Sowetan Live, Pro, real name Linda Mkhize, has claimed that the new wave of hip-hop superstars have forgotten the legends that went before them and are not giving them enough respect.

“The ones that came after HHP‚ I don’t think they embraced him. They didn’t treat him right or appreciate him. They are quick to forget the people who put them there. People who were once your friend don’t f*ck with you anymore,” he told the publication.

Pro seems to be enraged because, according to him, the current generation of hip-hop stars are quick to sample music from his era, yet cannot do so much as to show respect for them.

“F*ck them all!” he said.

“I learnt to just focus on my music and write more verses. I went into studio and just made proper music. I forgot the backstabbing and the nonsense and tried to find myself again‚” he continued.

Pro himself hasn’t released any new music for several years now. In early 2016, Pro claimed to making a comeback, but the project has since been delayed.
