RECENT photos of veteran producer and musician Robbie Malinga looking frail are apparently nothing to worry about.

Malinga lashed out at critics who said his health was slipping.

Fans took to social media, expressing their sadness about the star’s health and to show support for the Mthande hitmaker.

This followed a photo of him making the rounds on social media taken at the Metro FM listening session two weeks ago in Auckland Park, Joburg.

Daily Sun published a story on Monday about his worried fans.

In the report, his manager Sipho Dube reassured fans that Robbie was doing fine and isn’t sick.

Now Robbie has come out to speak for himself.

Quoted on a news website, he said people like to talk.

Robbie said: “I’m not sick. Let people talk‚ but I know that I’m fine.”

The musician said he isn’t bothered by the rumours surrounding his health.

He said he’s doing just fine.

Robbie’s fans feared the worst in June when they learned their beloved artist had been admitted to a private hospital in Jozi.

His hospital visit came after what he called a “slightly exhausting tour” around Mzansi with Idols winner Musa.

But despite Robbie himself saying he’s okay, fans said they continue to be worried about his condition.
