AMERICAN rap group Migos left the crowd begging for more on Friday after their performance at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Convention Centre in Durban.

The group, made up of Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, stole the show when they performed fan favourites such as T-shirt, What the Price, Slippery and Get Rich Witcha.

Migos fan Yolanda Shezi (19) said she bought her ticket three weeks ago because she didn’t want to miss out on the group’s live performance.

“I love them and as a young person, their music speaks to me.

“But I didn’t come here just for them.

“The rest of the line-up was also impressive,” she said.

A number of Mzansi musicians kept the crowd entertained before Migos performed.

AKA set the stage on fire when he performed his hit songs The World Is Yours, Baddest and Holy Mountain.

Gqom producers Distruction Boyz, who were joined by DJ Tira, also gave an unforgettable performance and popped open a bottle of champagne on stage.

DJ Tira performed with Afrotainment artist Tipcee, featured on songs such as Amadada and Malume after joining the record label this year.

L’vovo Derango, Riky Rick and Nasty C were also in the lineup.

Migos also performed at Ticketpro Dome in Joburg on Saturday.

The tour was organised by Mabala Noise, Gagasi FM, BET Africa, YFM and MTV Base.
