Llyan’s debut single, Durban, is about having a good time.

LLYAN knows how to get a party started.

Born Zolani Mbhele, the 26-year-old rapper raised in Umlazi, KZN has released his debut single called Durban.

The song is about all the fun people have in Durban during the festive season.

Llyan said: “Since we are approaching December, I thought I should release a song about spending December in Durban.

“I recorded a single about my home town because I wanted to motivate people to come and have fun here.

“The single is a hip hop song with a beat that people can dance to.

“I am sharing my experiences because my story is one that a lot of people can relate to.

“I have performed at big events and worked with a few well-known artists, so I have an idea what fans are looking for in a song.

“I believe music fans will love my song, which will help them have a great time when they celebrate summer.”

Llyan’s song was featured on an episode of the Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya.

“I was grateful my song was played on Isibaya.

“That inspired me to produce more music that people will relate to.”

Llyan is currently working on an extended play to be released in December.
