VIVACIOUS TV presenter Lalla Hirayama spent hours in the emergency room after she suddenly collapsed at work last week!
The sexy Vuzu presenter was admitted to Milpark Hospital in Joburg after a serious health scare.
Sunday Sun has learnt that doctors told Lalla too much stress and exhaustion had taken its toll on her.
This comes while Lalla’s still mending a broken heart after her shock separation from long-time boyfriend and businessman, Chris Nkosi, last year.
Friends close to Lalla said she had suffered a double blow when she lost her grandmother days after her break-up.
Lalla collapsed straight after shooting and woke up in hospital.
Speaking to Sunday Sun, Lalla said she’s fine.
She also thanked her friends and fans for their support.
Lalla said she was in the emergency room for hours while the doctors had her under observation.
“I was put on a drip for all sorts of things,” she said.
She said a lot has happened in her life recently and that she didn’t take the time to deal with it.
“I lost my granny in December and at the same time I broke up with my ex.
“I guess it was a build-up of lots of things,” said Lalla.
She said she’s a worka-holic and there are a lot of things she wanted to accomplish this year.
“I was told to relax and take it easy on my body.
“But to be honest, I’m really fine,” she said.
Lalla added she now knows the importance of taking vitamins and eating all her meals regularly.
“I work out a lot and sometimes I would skip meals.
“So I was told to take my vitamins daily,” she said.
Lalla said she was admitted to hospital just a few days before her 28th birthday.
A source close to the situation said Lalla was very much in love with Chris.
She was also very close to her granny, the source told Sunday Sun.
“This could perhaps have been the cause of her stress,” said the source.
