AWARD-winning rapper Kwesta may not have scooped an award at Saturday night’s Metros but he had a bigger victory!

The 28-year-old Ngud’ hit maker, whose real name is Mfundo Vilakazi, scooped the heart of the love of his life, his baby mama.

He confirmed during the Metros Black Carpet on Saturday night that he was off the market.

Real Goboza host, Phat Joe asked him who he was dressed by and Kwesta said: “It’s literally just stuff I bought, and my girl dressed me.”

When Joe asked if the “my girl” he was referring to was his fiance, Kwesta confirmed it by showing off a tattoo on his ring finger.

Last week Daily Sun’s sister paper Sunday Sun reported that the rapper will be performing a traditional ceremony known as umembeso for his girlfriend of seven years, Yolanda Mvelase.

The couple has a daughter together and the ceremony is said to be taking place next Wednesday.

When the SunTeam contacted Kwesta, he said he wanted to keep things private.

“I’d really rather not talk about it. It’s something I want to keep to myself. Sorry!”

Kwesta, who has been in the music industry for the past 10 years, was nominated for song of the year, best male artist, best hip hop album and best collaboration at this year’s Metro FM awards.
