SURPRISE Nkosi has surprised Khanyi Mbau with a song!

Titled Khanyi Mbau, the dance song is dedicated to Khanyi and praises her resourcefulness and how she is able to make things happen for herself.

Surprise (29) from Pienaar in Mpumalanga said despite growing up in a village with no resources, he has been able to realise his music aspirations.

Known to his fans as Skroofman, Surprise said he has been inspired by rapper Emtee.

“Emtee released a song Pearl Thusi, which became a popular track about a TV personality of the same name.

Khanyi Mbau is a dance song with Swati and Zulu lyrics,” said Surprise.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Khanyi said she was aware of the song, because Surprise had contacted her and asked for her permission to use her name.

“It’s just a song with my name as the title. I don’t have a problem with him using my name.

“I wish him all the success on his project.”

Khanyi said she had listened to it.

“Let his audience judge the track.”

Surprise said the song was about him wanting a woman like Khanyi.

“I want a famous woman who has her own money to spend on herself,” he told the People’s Paper.

“In the kasi, we have women who solely depend on men to provide for them.”

“I am encouraging men to pursue girls who are independent and build their own lives.

“Khanyi has the style and money. Those are the kinds of women men need.”
