THERE has been no rest for Idols SA winner Karabo Mogane after winning the lucrative M-Net contest last Sunday.
The winner from Mbombela, in Mpumalanga, is currently busy in studio creating music for his debut album, which is set to be released this December.
This will be the first time an Idols SA winner releases an album just weeks after winning, and just in time for Christmas.
Karabo also hit the ground running when he secured his first gig before even releasing an album.
He’ll be performing at the annual HIV/Aids Benefit Concert which will be held at Abrahsmsrust, in Fezile Dabi District Municipality.
Karabo will also get to attend next year’s American Idols finale in Los Angeles, in the US.
Speaking to Sunday Sun at the Universal Music studio, Karabo said the album is taking shape quite nicely.
“We’re doing about three tracks a day and hope to finish recording in the next few days,” he said.
