THE names of the celebs hosting this year’s Metro FM Music Awards have finally been announced!

Yes, Bonang Matheba and Mo Flava (real name Moeti Tsiki ) are the ones stepping into that limelight.

Bonang Matheba, who hosts the popular “The Front Row” on Metro FM, said she was thrilled. “For almost a decade now I have been fortunate enough to host some of South Africa's big stage events. I thank Metro FM management for entrusting me with this momentous opportunity.”

Mo Flava presents the much-loved “The Morning Fix”. "I've been with the Metro FM family for a year now and it's an absolute honour to have been asked to host the awards. I'm looking forward to seeing the music industry gather in Durban," he said.

Station manager Sibongile Mtyali said: “Hosting the music awards has historically been a tough task. Yet each year we see our presenters rising to the occasion and setting the bar higher and higher. This year we’re especially excited for the young and dynamic duo selected and we trust that they will take our listeners on a memorable journey.”

The ceremony will be held in Durban on 27 February. It will be broadcast on SABC from 8pm. Public viewing areas are being set up in Durban (Moses Mabhida stadium), East London (Drifter Race Track, Cambridge) and Pretoria (Centurion Shisanyama).
