YESTERDAY City Press reported that Kelly Khumalo’s lawyers had sent Sam Meyiwa a letter ordering him to stop humiliating her and damaging her reputation.

However, Sam has lashed out at Kelly, saying she must bring him a letter listing the names of those who were involved in the murder of his son, Senzo!

The cease and desist letter was delivered to Sam’s home in Umlazi, south of Durban, by the sheriff of the court on Friday evening.

In the letter, Sam is warned by Kelly’s lawyers that if he doesn’t stop saying insulting things about her, she will sue him for damages suffered.

Linda Moeketsi, Kelly’s publicity manager, confirmed the letter was sent.

“Kelly has had enough of the malicious rumours being spread about her.

“She is tired of being abused by Meyiwa,” he said.

Sam told Daily Sun he would be meeting his lawyers to decide what steps to take.

“It’s not easy to lose a child. Senzo was everything to me and my family. I don’t talk about Kelly. I talk about Senzo who died at Kelly’s family’s house more than two years ago.”

He said every parent would understand the pain he was feeling as a father who didn’t know who had killed his son.

The Meyiwa family recently slammed Kelly’s most recent song, which was written as a tribute to Senzo, the father of her youngest child. Sam told Daily Sun last week that she recorded the song just to irritate his family. He said Kelly had no manners and needed to shut up.
