FASHION BLOGGER and stylist, Sarah Langa is tired of people commenting on whether or not she is black.

It all started when Sarah said she hated the concept of “slaying”.

Twitter being the mess that it is, people naturally pulled up old tweets and Instagram posts where Sarah said that she is slaying.

And then it became a race thing, which caused Sarah’s outburst.

In a heated Twitter rant, the fashionista hit back at people telling her what race she is.

“Since you guys are so smart, tell me what race am I? Or should I host a meet and greet so that you can all stick pencils in my hair?” she said.

According to Sarah, her parents ticked “other” in the race category when enrolling her into school.

But she says that in her personal experience of filling in forms, there is no “racial category for us,” referring to mixed or coloured people.

“I can’t have people that know nothing about my race tell me what I am,” she ranted.

Sarah grew up in Soweto Mofolo before moving to the city in Observatory where she attended school.
