DON ON THE ATTACK!

LEGENDARY jazz artist and business man Don Laka was on fire this week.

He rolled out the punches one by one – from disclosing how much his royalties for airplay were, to calling out SABC’s Metro FM radio station.

Don really set things alight. He even took jabs at some popular DJs and producers who work for the station – or are affiliated with it one way or the other.

Bra Don updated his Facebook status and went on calling out DJs, including Oskido, Christos, Shimza and Mo Flava.

He posted: The biggest fraud and conflict of interest reign supreme here! These are the top and most famous music earner DJs in the country, and they all work for one radio station. They promote each other.Theyhave all opened a business inside a business!

This was very heavy to read. I see where he is coming from – but the DJs are also trying to make a living in this already-sliced pie. I honestly hope he finds some peace because, for some reason, I think this is only the beginning.

Did I mention his Facebook account was suspended after he posted the statement?

I’m happy to hear Generations: The Legacy actor Rapulana Seiphemo, aka “Tau Mogale”, is at home and recovering. This after the horrific accident he was involved in last Sunday, which claimed the lives of two people.

There’s a rumour making the rounds that he was being hijacked. Can you imagine the trauma he’ll have to deal with once he recovers? And more so the families who lost their loved ones.

I hope if this was a hijacking, the law will run its course.

This life thing is very hard. Our students were kicked out of residences at some universities. How are they supposed to study when they’re worried about finding a place to sleep?

Our government needs to step things up.

How many more students should resort to violence before this matter is taken seriously?

#JumboFire happened and everything went up in smoke. This after the blaze last week at one of the biggest stores in Jozi: Jumbo Cash & Carry. So where will most of our kasi spaza shops get their merchandise now?

Tbo Touch and friends arrived in grand style for the #TouchDownConvoy! I’m

glad it was a huge success and they all arrived safely.

LOVE,

SPICE QUEEN

XOXO
