DJ SBU is back in the music industry after a short break.
The controversial DJ recently released a song titled Ndingubani in which he features Zahara. So far it has received a warm welcome by music lovers.
“I’ve been getting positive feedback. Although it’s a bit late for me to say it’s a December song, but it’s hot. My fans and Zahara’s will get to see the video on TV from next week.”
He is expected to rock the crowd at Best Of Both Worlds to be held at Mashamplan Lounge, in Chesterville, Durban on Friday.
The Vuma FM DJ whose real name is S’busiso Leope, said people must come to the show and enjoy it with him.
“I’ve been absent in the music industry for a while because I was busy with my businesses. But I’m back now, with a song that drives people crazy. I’m looking forward to share the stage with other DJs including C’ndo, Mlisa, Wonder, Happy Gal and others at Best Of Both Worlds.”
DJ Sbu said he’ll play old school kwaito songs to remind the crowd where the genre started.
“I’ll rock Mdu Masilela, Mzekezeke and Brown Dash. I’m encouraging people to come early because Friday is a public holiday and artists are booked everywhere. Some artists will perform early and leave.”
- Gates for the show open at 10am. Tickets are available at the gate at R80 before 3pm, R120 thereafter and R250 for VIP.
