Staying ahead in the music industry is never easy.
DJ Ms Jones, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary in the local music scene, said she’s learned to work extra hard.
On Friday, the Bekkersdal-born DJ and producer released her latest single, Tell Me.
She said the response to the track from fans and radio stations has been amazing.
“A few national radio stations have already playlisted my single, and I am really excited because this is my best work so far,” she told SunBuzz.
“I worked with awesome vocalist Red Rose and producer DJ Skyvince, both from Rustenburg.
“During the recording of the song, I used to travel there until we were done producing.
“It was inspired by love and, most importantly, it showcases just how talented Red Rose is.”
Ms Jones said the gqom song is a nice sing-along track which she has dedicated to women.
“My plan always was to release the track during this Women’s Month.”
She will launch her single on Saturday at 649 Pub and Restaurant in Mohlakeng, Randfontein, as she celebrates her decade in music.
“I will also feature DJs Chyna, Chico, Skink and more local DJs,” said Ms Jones.
