THE cold and dusty weather didn’t stop the fun at the DStv iRock Festival.

Stars such as Cassper Nyovest, Amanda Black, Okmalumkoolkat and Euphonik brought the house down at the Polokwane Cricket Club on Saturday.

The crowd went crazy when Cassper took to the stage.

He performed some of his hit songs, leaving his fans begging for more.

Before leaving the stage, he thanked the people of Limpopo.

“People of Polokwane, you’re so amazing,” he said.

“Thank you for coming in your numbers to watch me perform.

“It’s good to perform for people who understand hip hop music. I really appreciate that.”

The energy was at an all-time high when Amanda Black was on stage, accompanied by a live band.

The crowd, especially the ladies, sang along to almost all her songs.

Somizi Mhlongo, who was the MC, joined Amanda on stage to help her wrap up her performance with a beautiful rendition of her hit song, Amazulu.

DJ Euphonik was not to be outdone and he climbed the stage to show off his skills on the decks.

To add to his already hot line-up, he invited Killer Kau to join him on stage.

The TholukuthiHey hitmaker performed and the crowd couldn’t hold back their excitement.

They threw open cans of beer in the air and danced uncontrollably.

Local DJ Q-Scoten was also given a chance to show off his skills and the crowd responded well to his performance.
