CELEBS WHO SLIP UP!

accreditation

ILOVE Phat Joe, and almost fell off my chair when I got an email about him.

It was a statement from Sadsawu, an organisation that represents domestic workers. And it referred to Phat Joe as “Runaway Joe”.

And my jaw dropped!

The statement alleged Joe unfairly dismissed his domestic worker via SMS.

This after Nontembiso apparently spent five years working for him.

I was not ready for that at all. It’s quite sad how most of us treat people who help us with our domestic work.

If the statement is true, I’m extremely disappointed in him and hope he’ll do right by the lady.

C’mon, Phat Joe!

Ntsiki Mazwai caused another stir on social media

. . . AGAIN! It seems she “barked” up the wrong tree, because Simphiwe Dana said she’s taking legal action against the poet.

It all began when Ntsiki responded to a tweet and said: @Malankabe artists like The Soil, Simphiwe Dana, come from open mic sessions I hosted.

Things went south after that as Simphiwe responded to the tweet and wrote: I don’t recall this . . . at all.

From that moment on, I clutched my bag because I knew it was not going to be pleasant at all.

Both women are
strong-willed and I didn’t expect either of them to back down on their claims.

After Ntsiki went on to insinuate Simphiwe slept her way to the top and that she was an alcoholic, the singer lost her cool and sent out a statement.

It said she would go the legal route as Ntsiki’s tweets were false and defamatory.

And how about Big Brother Mzansi’s 2015 winners Ace and Ntombi?

Last week, they allegedly got bust with weed and ecstasy when cops found them “riding dirty” in their car.

I mean, I just hung my head in shame. They were released on R1 000 bail and will appear in court next month.

Also, cellular network company MTN were called out by Capasso, the royalty collecting society which represents songwriters and their publishers for digital sales.

This after MTN allegedly failed to pay any royalties to the songwriters since 2013.

MTN, please just do the right thing. And pay back the money!

Please, and thank you very much.

Oh, one last interesting question: Is Penny Penny really Cassper Nyovest’s biological dad? I’m sure everyone would like to know.

Enjoy your Sunday!
