Somebody has rubbed former YoTV presenter, Hulisani Ravele, aka ‘Cece”, up the wrong way this morning, and she is not having it.

Someone on Twitter took issue with Cece tweeting in Venda – her home language – and now she is clapping back hard.

“Black people, sometimes we really are our own worst enemies...some of us have no respect for other people's languages & cultures,” she began.

She went on to say that she wanted to let it go but “this kind of tribalistic behaviour IS NOT OK!!!!” she said.

She then said that there is nothing funny about looking down on someone’s language or culture.

“And worse, black person to black person. No man. Let's respect each other. If you have nothing nice to say then don't tweet back bathing,” she said.

She ended off by saying: “Getting that off my freckles feels SO much better!”

Yaaaas Cece, yaaaas!
