FOR her 26th birthday, actress and TV presenter Boitumelo “Boity” Thulo bought herself a mansion worth about R4 million, which grabbed headlines and caused a social media spectacle.

However, a few months down the line, rumours have spread like wildfire that Boity’s house was repossessed and is being auctioned.

The Potchefstroom-born actress hit back at all the reports, describing them as “malicious and untrue”.

Nonetheless, the media personality is not fazed by all the noise.

But something good has come out of it.

She says she’s learnt not to share too much.

“I have learnt that not everyone is going to be happy for you. There was so much negativity around me posting my accomplishment on social media,” she says.

All that experience has taught Boity  to keep many of her personal details  and accomplishments to herself.

When she posted about the house on social media, rumours of a secret blesser quickly emerged.

And gossipers were pointing to her exboyfriend, rapper Cassper Nyovest.

But the rapper denied being involved in buying a house for his ex girlfriend.

According to a report by a Sunday newspaper, Boity’s house was apparently listed on the Private Property website.

ICYMI: BOITY'S HOUSE IS ON THE MARKET!

The newspaper claimed that when they did a deed search, it did not reflect any property registered in the name of the former Club808 presenter.

However, they could not get confirmation from the estate agent who sold the house to Boity that the property was back on the market.

Up until now, the actress hasn’t even bothered to defend herself and the state of her property.

Speaking to Move!, Boity sets the record straight. “It’s such a malicious article. It’s not true,” she sternly says.
