Social media is abuzz this morning with news that Babes Wodumo is having trouble with her Visa to the US.

This after a Drum Magazine exclusive revealed that Babes is still waiting for her interview with the US consulate who are yet to sign off on her Visa.

Babes is meant to be flying to the USA in order to attend the BET Awards where she is nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category.

“It’s not that she is not going, we are still trying. Even yesterday we were working on it, we didn’t sleep. But it’s the issue of getting someone to sign and we are sent from one person to the next,” Mampintsha told that the publication.

Melody Mhlongo of West Ink Records also spoke to the publication saying: ““There were a lot of factors that contributed to these delays but I can’t go into details now. We are still trying to get an interview for her and we can’t say she is not going yet”.

The awards are set to take place this Sunday, 25 June 2017.
