One half of Mzansi’s celebrity super couple, AKA, has announced that he and media darling, Bonang Matheba have “decided to call it quits”.

“Myself and Bonang have decided to call it quits. I feel like I need to put this out there so we can both move on. I wish her all the best and I will always love her,” AKA tweeted.

Whether or not this is the truth or yet another publicity stunt is not yet clear, but we do know that Bonang and AKA and not strangers to using their relationship for attention.

The couple had their first "breakup" of the year in February, which was also announced on Twitter.

They later revealed that it was a publicity stunt.

Before AKA tweeted that the relationship has reached its expiry date this morning, he went on another one of his infamous Twitter rants.

“Life is really just about making a decision. Making a decision to be happy or to be sad. People can do things to you, hurt you, make you feel low or whatever but ultimately.... it's up to you how you deal with it and how you move forward. Nobody is responsible for your happiness, only you can make the choice of which path you think is best for you,” the Supa Mega tweeted.

He went on to say that “people” should not blame other people when they have made their choices in life.

Meanwhile, Bonang has not confirmed nor denied the break up, but she did put out some very interesting tweets.

While most of us were still asleep, the queen tweeted, at 2am, some rather angry-looking tweets.

“I’m 30. I ain’t taking NO s**t no more. Welcome to it darling. Fit it or f**k off. I have things to do,” Bonang said.

The tweets have since been deleted and replaced with a passive aggressive tweet about choosing joy.

“Choose joy... once you choose and place your attention on wanting to flow there, the universe will shift for you and inspire you to the action needed to take you there,” she said.

Only time can tell how long this alleged break up will last.
