The pastor, who said he did not expect to win in the tightly contested category, attributed his award to his faith in God.

“My mission is to provide spiritual assistance and healing, as well as to draw people closer to God.”
Pastor Phiri said his show is a platform for celebrities who have overcome the odds to share their story.
“A lot of celebrities have been interviewed on the show.
“Their interviews motivate viewers who are losing hope.”
Pastor Phiri has interviewed the likes of former public protector Thuli Madonsela, actress Sophie Ndaba, kwaito musician Kabelo Mabalane, gospel artists Benjamin Dube and Dr Tumi, as well as radio presenter and activist Criselda Dudumashe.
