WORD on the street is that Big Nuz’s Mampintsha has found love with a 22-year-old student!
According to sources, the singer has been spending a lot of his time with Bongekile Simelane, a dancer studying to be a social worker.
Babs – as her friends call her – featured on Sir Bubzin and Big Nuz’s single Desha and for the past year, she and Mampintsha have apparently been very close.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Babs said there was no plan for her to feature on the track.
“The idea came about when we were having fun at Sir Bubzin’s studio while Big Nuz were recording.
“I said sidesha sideshile la to him and that was it,” she said.
Another source told the People’s Paper that Mampintsha is crazy about Babs.
“He likes her cute looks and her dancing talent.
“They have been spotted out together a lot. It’s an open secret that they’re an item,” said the source.
A third source said Mampintsha couldn’t stop bragging about Babs.
“He’s always posting their choreographed videos on social media.”
When contacted for comment about her relationship with Mampintsha, Babs played it down, saying: “We are just friends who happen to work together.”
Mampintsha replied to an SMS sent by the SunTeam asking about his relationship with Babs.
He wrote in isiZulu: “Don’t you dare write lies about me.”
