I JUST WANNA BE FAMOUS!

accreditation
Zwakele Biyela, who goes by the name of Zwa, will release his second mixtape in April.

His hip hop flow and style have jazz elements that will leave you asking for more.

Zwa – whose real name is Zwakele Biyela – has just dropped a single called Mina Ngyam’shova Umtwana.

It’s taken from his second mixtape titled Situations.

Speaking to SunBuzz about his mixtape, Zwa said: “I plan to release it in April.

“I have 12 tracks now and will be adding two more to make my project complete. One thing about my music is that it makes sense and it talks about the different situations I find myself in. There are love songs, party songs and lyrical content.”

The 23-year-old Durban-born artist released his first mixtape New City Bird in 2013 and made it available for free download.

He said Situations will also be available on his SoundCloud pages.

“It’s not about money for me. I just want to be known. I quit my job at FNB to pursue a career in music,” he said.

“I believe in my ability. I decided to drop Mina Ngyam’shova Umtwana as my first single as a way to introduce myself to the world. It’s a fun, poppy song. My other songs are deeper . . . I didn’t want to introduce myself as this intelligent guy who is too serious. I hope people will see my fun side too,” he said.

He has registered his own publishing company but is still looking for a recording deal with a big company.
