THE Economic Liberators Forum South Africa (ELF-SA) political net expands ahead of the 29 May polls.

This comes after the party announced that another political party will throw its weight behind them on 29 May.

In a media briefing held on Monday, 22 April, in Tshwane, ELF-SA leader Hulisani Mani said Freedom in South Africa (Fisa) has joined forces with ELF-SA, symbolising a crucial alliance for the upcoming elections.

“All Fisa members will now stand in solidarity under the ELF-SA banner, merging our structures into a seamless and efficient machinery. We're confident that ELF-SA will play a pivotal role as kingmaker in the upcoming elections,” Mani said.

Mani said his party stands as a beacon of hope and progress in their quest for economic empowerment and social justice. He believes that only through unity can they challenge the oppressive systems that have hindered people from becoming true owners of the economic prosperity they rightfully deserve.

“The current status quo perpetuates the interests of the privileged few, while the majority continue to be marginalized and overlooked. As champions of African liberation, our mission is to reclaim the identity of the black man and to reconnect with our rich cultural heritage."

“By embracing our African traditions and coming together as one nation, led by esteemed kings and queens of our land, we pave a way for community governance and heritage preservation,” he said.

He said ELF-SA remains deeply worried about the ongoing water crisis that affect communities, adding that villages like Mavude in Vhembe have been deprived of adequate water supply for the past 25 years.

Mani said his recent intervention in Mavude, where they installed a borehole within 48 hours of engaging with the royal family on 14 April 2024, demonstrates his party's commitment to addressing pressing issues faced by communities.

“We're pleased to report that the people of Mavude now have access to clean water after a long and arduous struggle lasting a quarter of a century.”
