BIG winning streaks continue to follow Ofentse Pitse everywhere she goes.
She became the first black South African woman to conduct and own an all-black orchestra in 2019, and recently, she sold out a show in just five hours on Thursday, 25 April.
This after she partnered with amapiano star Kabza De Small for a show, called Red Bull Symphonic Kabza De Small with Ofentse Pitse and the Symphonic Orchestra.
Kabza, who has also been enjoying a run of good luck, was recently the biggest winner at the Metro FM Awards, scooping four awards and R250 000.

After getting sold out in a matter of hours, a new date for the show had to be added. They will host another show on Sunday, 9 June, at the Lyric Theatre.
Ofentse told Daily Sun that she didn’t expect the tickets to sell that quickly.
“It’s such an incredible honour to be a part of making history. We had faith that we’d sell, just never imagined it would be so quickly,” she said.
She said it’s huge because the last time tickets were sold out that quickly was when a legendary musician visited Mzansi.
“I was reminded that the last time something of this magnitude happened in South Africa in the classical music world was when the greatest opera singer of our time, Luciano Pavarotti, came to South Africa about 19 years ago.
“How significant is it that it's now happening with us and amapiano? A sound continues to break barriers, and it’s now shifting the classical music landscape,” Ofentse said.
Speaking about the show, Kabza said this showed him that the genre amapiano is still going to go places.
“It’s really crazy, the thought of it all. But many of my songs focus on vocals, and a lot of amapiano is very instrumental. So, I think people will be familiar with it. Amapiano is taking over the world, and through collaborations like this, who knows how much further we could push the genre?” he said.
