GOSPEL star Fikile Mlomo has been admitted to hospital.
She shared that although she's unable to walk without assistance and is awaiting an operation, she believes she'll walk again.
This after the gospel musician and thousands of her fans held a prayer and fundraiser for her operation at GNF Church on Friday, 26 April.
The 42-year-old musician from Lindelani, north of Durban, said that her spinal cord will undergo surgery this week, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
She needs the operation due to a spinal tumor diagnosis, which has left her unable to walk without help.
Fikile expressed her gratitude and said: "Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who contributed during the fundraising. I did not expect it and felt like I’m still loved and important. The money received will go far, and for security reasons, I will not disclose how much was collected."

She said because of the prayers, she's imagining herself walking without being wheelchair-bound, and her hope is back.
"I owe my fans a great album. I thank those who are still donating to my account, and I appreciate all the musicians who came to support me. I hope God heard our prayers, and I hope that after the operation, I'll be able to stand and walk again. I have a big hope to wear my high heels again.
"Fikile is relieved that doctors finally diagnosed her with a spinal tumor after spending two months in the hospital, unable to walk and unsure of what was wrong.
